I think that it is the most important thing for books to be available to everyone, regardless of their age, disability, socioeconomic status, etc. It kills me to see children grow up that aren't exposed to books, the children are so far behind when they start in school. I think that it is a great way to get students more exposed to books. I remember when my brother, and actually a lot of boys, hated reading. Maybe the e-books will target a large audience and get students to begin to enjoy reading more.
E-books will be great to use in the classroom and also at home. I think that e-books will also be very useful in special education. The electronic books allow students with disabilities to increase the font size, pronounce words, and read at their own pace. The students can customize their book to them!
I really like the concept that a computer can hold hundreds of books, like it's own library! E-books definitely make reading easier! I am glad to see a different way to read and a different way for students to learn in the classroom! I think that e-books will be a great new way to read! I just really hope it doesn't excel too much and completely replace books in print. But I think e-books will be great for learning!
